Warhammer Online Guide Review

Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat

Ashling‘s Warhammer Guide was not just thrown together by some amateurs like so many other Warhammer guides out there. A team of hard-core testers from beta created this guide. Ashling’s Warhammer Online Guide has the most complete, up to date information on Warhammer Online available. If you’ve seen his guide for Age of Conan, then you already know the quality of Ashling’s guides.

You might here claims from other guides that they have the best guide because it was not created in closed beta. They make this claim only a couple days after the game was released. So they wrote an entire guide on how to level up in Warhammer Online in a day or two? I don’t think so. Ashling’s Warhammer Online Guide was developed in closed beta and is updated whenever changes are made to the game. In fact, as of this writing, the leveling guide is current with Warhammer Online.

Before using Ashling’s Warhammer Online Guide, I was using a guide from some other author. All it had was a list of quest names and maps. It gave no details on how to do the quests. It wasn’t much more help than what the game gives you already. Ashling’s guide is just the opposite. The quest guide and maps are very detailed. The amount of time this guide saves me is huge. With my limited playing time, I hate wasting time wandering around figuring out things, I need to be able to log in and get things done.

Some advantages to owning this guide are as follows:

Complete step-by-step Warhammer quest guide including coordinates. Never get lost again trying to find a quest mob or quest NPC.
Leveling guide covers solo, grouping, and RvR. No matter what your playing style, Ashling’s guide has you covered.
Not a bunch of rehashed forum posts. This guide is full of excellent content that you won’t find anywhere else.
Free updates every time the guide is changed. Warhammer Online changes all the time, and whenever it does, this guide will be updated and you have access to these updates at no extra cost.

The only disadvantage I could find is:

Some areas of the guide are still being developed and are “Coming Soon“. It’s disappointing not to have those right away. The in-game map mod is one of those features. That is going to be a great feature once it is added to the guide.

Watch out for the horrible guides if you are in the market for a Warhammer Online guide. You will find plenty of them around. Try Ashling’s Warhammer Online Guide and you won’t be sorry.
